Data Deletion

You can ask Fishcluster to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how. For what we collect and why, see our privacy policy.

Stop WhatsApp messages

Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message from Fishcluster. We stop sending you WhatsApp messages straight away. You can also ask your field agent to turn them off.

Ask us to delete your data

Send your request in any of these ways:

• Email admin@fishcluster.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Send it from the email address you gave us, or include the phone number registered with us.
• In person: ask your Fishcluster field agent.

Tell us your full name and the phone number registered with us, so we can find your records. We may contact you on that number to confirm the request came from you.

What happens next

1. We confirm we received your request within 5 working days.
2. We delete your personal data, including your WhatsApp number and message history, within 30 days.
3. We tell you when it is done.

Some records we must keep by law, for example records of financing, payments, identity verification and our audit trail. We keep those only for the period the law requires, use them for no other purpose, and delete them when that period ends. If your request affects an active financing agreement or equipment on your farm, we will explain what that means for you before we act.
